We are the Minnesota chapter of ICCA, the Independent Computer Consultants Association.
Our members are small firms (one person or more) who provide computer consulting and contract programming services. We provide mentoring for our fellow consultants and people considering entering the consulting field as independents. We often refer contract business informally among our members, although that's not our main function.
Our chapter has been in existence since 1981. We meet about once a month, usually at one of two Twin Cities area restaurants, where we start with a social hour, have dinner, take care of any chapter business, and often hear a presentation by an area vendor with information of interest to consultants.
